Technical specifications

This is a riding mowing machine with a gas powered 725cc Kohler 7000 Series V-Twin engine that runs 23 horsepower and although the power and the displacement of the engine may seem lower than in other models, it can successfully handle wide areas of grass. The engine features an electric start that assures promptitude every time you need to use it so you will never have to worry about having trouble starting it. It has a Dual Hydro Gear EZT 2200 transmission and a standard foot operated cruise control that requires no shifting, you just push the foot pedal and the machine starts moving. It is a four-wheel drive model and a zero-turn model, which means the turning radius is zero, something achieved by the hydraulic speed control. Additionally, the steering wheel helps the driver to easily maneuver the machine.

Features

The zero-turning radius offers efficiency and increased control when mowing, and the foot control lets you set your own rhythm. Even if you choose to mow at different speeds, the dual hydrostatic transmission provides a zero-turn performance while protecting your lawn and providing maximum stability. For more comfort, the simplicity of gas and brake pedals are similar to a car’s control and movement, allowing you to go forward by pressing the gas pedal and to go backward by pushing the reverse pedal next to the gas pedal. The machine travels at speeds of 7 mph forward and 4 mph in reverse, and the Synchro Steer Technology allows the steering wheel to control both front wheels, while the rear wheels are independently controlled to assure a higher maneuverability and stability even on rough terrain and on hills. It has a cup holder right next to the seat to allow you to enjoy your coffee or favorite drink while mowing and a Cub Comfort deluxe high-back seat with an 11-position fingertip adjustment mechanism and a 6″ seat travel for increased comfort and no back pain after you finish mowing. The steel deck has a 50” cutting width and it powers 3 blades that provide an excellent cut even in thick and tall grass, and the 8 cutting positions that can be adjusted by operating a spring-assisted lever make sure the machine can handle any type of grass. It comes with a side discharge feature that throws the grass at a side, but a mulching kit can be attached to the machine if you prefer to turn the remaining grass into compost. The 2.8-gallon fuel tank has a window so that you will always know when your gas is about to be over and you have to fill the tank, and the patented Smart Jet deck wash technology makes cleaning the unit very easy, as you simply have to attach a hose and let it remove the grass stuck underneath it.

Design

The 620-pound machine is moved by four wheels, the 6” front wheels are simultaneously operated and the 8” back wheels are independently controlled to offer increased maneuverability and stability. The zero turn is handled by the dual hydraulic transmission that operates the wheels with the simple touch of the pedals. It features a steering wheel that makes it easy to operate and gives it full traction and stability thanks to the two-position steering column adjustment and the 50” rust-resistant steel deck with E-coat protection powers three smooth blades that offer superior cut and bagging, while the mulching capacity extends the functionality of the machine.

Warranty

When it comes to warranty, you will not have to worry about having troubles with the mowing machine, as the manufacturer offers you a 3-year warranty or 120 operating hours, but if you handle it carefully and you replace the air filters in time, you will enjoy the performance and comfort without any problem.
